Step 5: Advocating for Change
We engaged with key decision-makers across political parties throughout 2022, and communicated the policy solutions that came out of our Ideas For Change at Labour and Conservative Party Conferences. We were pleased to see our idea for a ‘Green Badge’ for care workers endorsed by Wes Streeting MP, Shadow Secretary of State for Health, and see the idea welcomed at a Westminster debate in March.

Step 4: Testing
We are now taking the Ideas for Change developed by the Social Care Change group and stress-testing them in two phases: with sector experts and the British public.
