Health and care

Patrick
"I'd like to see much more joined-up care for complex conditions, particularly people with multiple chronic conditions. Because my suspicion is I've only got one condition. And all the others are just symptoms of it."
Marcia
"I think it is imperative that patients are LISTENED to more, whether on first presentation with symptoms or illness, or, after lengthy periods of time needing support. Detailed family stories or histories could quickly help identify additional personal risks especially if symptoms could be significant to a condition."
Grace
"Until recently there's certain conditions that they didn't even realise people of colour could have, or that don’t show up the same way as on white skin. Doctors not realising that's what they had are just totally misdiagnosing."
Stuart
"We need to look after nurses and doctors or it's going to get massively worse."
Dan
"I don't think it necessarily needs loads of extra money thrown at it. I think there's a lot of money wasted. There's huge inefficiencies everywhere."
"With the death of my Mum and my Dad, the end of life care was absolutely superb... both in the professionalism of the staff but also in the sensitivity and care."
Malcolm
"About a year ago, I had less support than I've got now. I've had to backup to get my support in place. Because I was struggling. A year ago, I was struggling at like cooking and filling forms and reading letters."
