About the event

Making ‘Coed Y Ddaear/Earth Wood’ out of wire mesh frames stuffed with recycled plastic, with leaves made from milk carton plastic with messages to the Earth written on, mounted on stands made of recycled plastic board, the workshops would take place in the six main towns across Montgomeryshire.

When finished these would then be displayed for a month in public spaces in each of Newtown, Welshpool, Machynlleth, Newtown, Llanidloes, and Llanfair Caereinion.

About Celf-Able

Celf-Able is run by a group of disabled and disability artists ranging from the formally trained to the self-taught. The group uses all forms of art to help people get together, reduce isolation, share work and time and enjoy disability culture – whether disabled or not. They also offer training, consultancy and networking opportunities.
