About the event

A Community Open Day to celebrate connecting community and friends, bridging the gap between old & new people from Brixton (Brixtonians). This will entails various community events such as a community meal, Domino competitions, a talent showcase, open mic, Back to School Drive (giving out equipment for kids to return to school: uniform, pens, bags).

About Brixton Soup Kitchen

The Brixton Soup Kitchen was founded to provide food, company and support for homeless people and has expanded to help elderly people who are lonely and young people who may have behavioural issues at school. The centre is open five days a week and offers hot food and drinks, CV workshops, job guidance and advice on housing and benefits.
