“We need to get our Long Covid clinics to be properly resourced. And there’s no excuse for them not being resourced correctly now. We definitely need to look at the long-term impacts on occupation and I think it’s an absolute scandal that so many health workers are not being assisted to go back to work when they acquired this occupationally. And I think that they’ve been treated very poorly as a sector of our society. And I think we need to be incredibly curious and careful with understanding what Long Covid looks like, what the different presentations are, and adapting how we respond according to how it evolves. And that means getting research in place, action research, as we go ahead.”
