“People delivering health and care are doing their best”
“I think, unless as a member of the public you have had an experience of working in health and care, you need to understand that the people delivering it are people as well and they’re doing their best. Being on both sides, when I first came into healthcare, it was a shock of the shambles… it’s just chaos and shambles. So I think people who receive care should also demand the absolute best care, because they deserve it and that’s what the services are for, but be understanding that the people delivering it are people just like them.”
