“Girls should be made aware of signs to look out for”
“I think the main thing, really, that could be a lot better is just the education and awareness of it all. Because I don’t know how many times over the years I’ve actually gone into a doctor’s appointment and the doctor has had to Google it and look through books to find out what will be the best treatment because they never heard of it, and they don’t know what would be the best thing to do. And I would also love to see it more in, taught in the schools and have young girls made aware of signs to look out for.”
