"You've only got a certain amount of time and something has to give, and you don't want to compromise your care of patients. But how do you fit everything into that time, when each year you're being asked to do more and more within that short amount of time? And GPs with their 10 minute time slots is a prime example. How are they supposed to be able to do everything? A lot of patients come to us and say the GP doesn't listen, or the GP doesn't have time for it. But it's not the GPs fault, necessarily. It's because they haven't got the time to be able to allow patients to feel like they're being listened to, and that they've got the time to have a conversation."
