"Staff teams that I work with can be very quick to judge families’ experiences of caring for people that they're supporting. And part of my job is getting people to think about the perspective of the person they're working with. But often if they've had lots of support from their family, I also have to get them to think about their family's experience of being a carer for that person. So that they don't end up being too judgmental about the ways people coped in very difficult circumstances, for decades, without the right sort of support."
