Joanne
"In A&E a doctor spoke to me and I told him all of my history. And this was not long after I had my kidney removed. And he went to speak to his senior, and this senior doctor turned around and said: 'You can't lose a kidney because of endometriosis.' So I requested that doctor come to speak me and say that to my face. And I said: 'Well, why am I sat here then? Because I can tell you now that's why my kidney died, because I've got endometriosis that wrapped itself around my ureter and caused my kidney to fail.' And I said: 'So don't you dare tell me that that cannot happen. It might be very rare, but it can happen. And it did happen to me.'"
