"I had occasion recently to phone my GP. I received a return call where it was obvious that the GP had made a decision about my illness prior to calling me. From “Hello” to “Goodbye “ was less than 90 seconds. During this time I was told to stop taking a medication I had been on for over five years with no alternative and prescribed a medication for indigestion. Nor was I told when and where my medication would be dispensed from. During this call I was given no opportunity to discuss my concerns, alternative treatments nor given a choice of pharmacy to dispense my medication. There was no consideration as to my ability, or lack of, to get to the pharmacy."
