About MaesNi

MaesNi is a community group created and led by residents of Maesgeichen estate on the outskirts of Bangor which works for residents to make their visions for their community happen.

MaesNi’s open steering group and workers support new and existing groups and clubs with whatever they need to flourish, and combines local consultation with creating social events. From street parties and cinema nights to a community café and activities for young people, from yoga and football to music, gardening and walking and much more besides.

MaesNi also works on infrastructure projects like new gardens and growing spaces, renewables and community centres and access to community spaces and leads a support hub for help with food, fuel and other needs as well as ideas to make their community an even better place to live.
